Register for Public Hearings on Law Enforcement in VT

By | August 3, 2020
From Lt. Governor Zuckerman – three upcoming hearings on policing in Vermont. I have added them to the calendar on this website. Register in advance if you’d like to speak and be heard by VT House committees.
As we are all looking for opportunities to wisely update our policies on law enforcement in order to reduce biased policies and enforcement, on August 6, 12, and 16, the Vermont House Government Operations and House Judiciary Committees will be co-hosting virtual meetings to obtain input from community members on proposed changes to these laws. You are urged to participate.
The meetings will be held on August 6 at 1:00 p.m., August 12 at 6:00 p.m., and August 16 at 4:00 p.m. To register to give testimony at one of these hearings, please fill out the registration form: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=bNefLrdYQUubkNDvoQ9AHuv41e110VFPvLwJgJxBlDVUQkMxMURQQVVNR0NWQ1pGTDFYSU01RFM5Ny4u If you are unable to attend or do not wish to speak at one of the meetings and still want to provide input, please fill out the Social Equity Caucus survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SECpolicereformsurvey
