Black Lives Matter Mural Painting and Community Outreach!
Presented by: Maddy Lord, Silas Goldman, The Black Perspective @theblackperspectivevt
Come out and show your support for the Black Lives Matter street mural painting on River Road in Jericho.
A number of tables will be set up around the area with information regarding criminal justice reforms, modern day slavery, school resource officers in schools, environmental justice, health disparities, and how to have hard conversations with family members. Alongside this there will be a Vermont voter registration table, a census table, and a table for the Black Perspective Organization. Lastly, we will have a few powerful speakers from the Black Perspective Organization and our community joining us to share their thoughts, experiences, and stories surrounding racial issues and the Black Lives Matter movement in Vermont and the U.S..
